Now that it's more or less official that there won't be any update related to Awesomenauts for a long time, it's perhaps time to dig the good old times back and embrace the nostalgia :ayla:

I think we all lived great moments with Awesomenauts throughout its development, from Kickstarter to release. Since it got released in 2012, it received more than 5 years of continuous development with regular updates. Some of you have been around since even longer than that.

What is the fondest memory of Awesomenauts you ever lived?

Not a specific memory per se, but the first time I discovered each character in this game had their own unique theme music I knew this game was going to be something special.

I never went 2 weeks without playing nauts since I started back in 2013. The first time I broke that rule was when I made a concentrated effort earlier this year because I wasn't having fun anymore. There are plenty of good meme-ries though.

The year is 20XX. Everyone can play Awesomenauts to niki levels of perfection. All gameplay has been deemed irrelevant and matches are decided by a game of Roflnauts. All new metas are based on Roflnauts DMs.

I sank way too much time in this game. It just never gets old, and it's such a good way to pass time on weekends especially

It's always been about the people you meet. Ps4 voice chat made from some hilarious conversations with randoms. Made some great friends and still talk to some. Many have moved on to different games never to be heard from again, but don't think I don't think about you once in awhile.

Shout out to jfcc69 and omega_J. Good times...

Although I'm relatively new to the Nauts community, my fondest memories come from the Noob to League 1 streams where I would do some absolute pepega things and feed my brains out which would frustrate the hell out of whoever was coaching me that session. But we would all have a good time at the end of the day and I don't think we ever went 0-3 on stream.

Shortly after release on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, the best Awesomenauts players at Ronimo played a few online matches against a team that claimed to be among the best on Playstation 3. At that point already the players beat the devs. This was pretty amazing to me: we had been playing Awesomenauts for years (throughout development) and still the best community members had practised so much in just a few weeks that they outplayed us.

That was probably one of the first moments where I realised that Awesomenauts remained fun for a lot more than the 10 hours of replayability we had envisioned before launch. :ix:
