Don't think I count as an 'eldernaut' since I came into the game around Vinnie and Spikes release.

Simpler times.

"You have killed a enemy."

"A enemy has been killed."

It is still just as bad now. I miss S.U.S.I.'s "Nonono, it's not that: an enemy has been killed."

I've been playing this game since 4 years, but i'm not an Eldernaut since I came after Starstorm, right when Scoop had been released :tear:

Starstorm was four years ago?

[checks purchase date: August, 2012]

I thought I had been late to the Steam party when I bought it all those years ago.

I have been living a lie.

Because my forum join date isn't exactly indicative of anything at this point...

...It doesn't feel the same, no. Not by a long shot, but you know, there's probably a massive element of nostalgia going on there.

But I still think that over the years the game's charm has faded away with all the extra polish and content, as backwards as that may sound.

Not sounding wierd at all. It is the same with e.g. Pokemon. Nostalgic cannot cheer up a game for ever, especially when the game changes and adapt to newer times

I bought the game while Gnaw was being teased. Not quite the most elderly of eldernauts but man do I feel old.
and boy have I aged poorly
