Introducing Admiral Swiggins! April 15th, 2013 - Ronimo
After several weeks of submissions, the "Design your 'naut!" contest on Facebook has concluded! The first half of the contest asked for people to submist descriptions of their own Awesomenaut and a bit of his/her backstory. The winner of this fase of the competition was Channfree with his Admiral Swiggins submission, an anchor-wielding space-squid!
For the second fase artists had to submit an idea what Admiral Swiggins was supposed to look like, and this part was won by Coffeybean4!

Aiguillon released! And stirrings in the deep! April 9th, 2013 - Ronimo
Legend tells the story of a giant cranky porcupine wandering through space. Furious at the sun for burning his eyes, he charged and killed both the light and himself.
His prickly remains now orbit the dead sun and gave home to the Kremzon, a crude and devious species that spend most of their time in bustling cabarets and smokey cafés. Aiguillon's thorny rings conceal a mythical temple, rumored to hold the power of invisibility!
Something is stirring in the deep! Out of shadow and flame steps Demon Skolldir, vanquisher of hope and bringer of doom! Standing in his path is no conjurer of cheap tricks, however! Behold, Genji the Grey shall let none pass! Which side will be victorious? Only you can help decide!
PAX East roundup and a new map: Aiguillon! April 5th, 2013 - Ronimo
PAX East '13 was absolutely fantastic! We got to meet tons of fans and managed to get lots of new players interested in the game. Three days of complete Awesomenauts mayhem!
In our booth we had 6 laptops and a three-player TV hooked up on a local network where people could try out our new upcoming map Aiguillon. This map is proving to have some awesome ambush and chase opportunities!
Everyday our booth was filled up with people having a great time! We even had lots of peeps coming back for more in our little corner of PAX based in the Indie Mega Booth!
Jesse Cox showed up to dominate a match as his favorite character Genji!
And APL winners Team Nerf Plz also dropped by for some friendly matches and a sneak peak at our new map, Aiguillon!
The map is now in Beta Testing and will be released soon, but if you want a sneak peak yourself, watch this Dev-match commented by FourCourtJester and SlowWolf!
New skins incoming & The APL Tournament Winners! March 11th, 2013 - Ronimo
Coco and Raelynn are getting new skins! Coco's McFly skin was chosen in our Facebook poll, letting the community decide her next look. Raelynn is suited up in her furutisitc tactical spec-ops outfit! Be sure to look for both skins in the upcoming patch!

Patch 1.15: Genji is here! Massive balance update! March 1st, 2013 - Ronimo
Genji has arrived and is ready to dole out the Space Butterfly's galactic justice! Joining him in the fray is Kage Genji, rumored to be one of a select few monks who operate from the shadows and try to make all of creation do their bidding!
But there's even more! There's a change in how the base now operates. The teamwall above the core will now disappear when all turrets are down, making it easier to counter heavy turtling!
