This thread's not about Aiguillon but okay.

My 2c; you just need to respect the enemy's presence, read their positions and then act on bottom lane. Don't overextend if you think you'll get bodyblocked in there. It's a matter of only going down there when you know where the enemy is. If all 3 are on top lane it's pretty safe to go bot for at least a brief moment and if you have a ranged attack you can clear down there pretty much risk-free.

I want to ask: why is Yoolip the same as Skolldir in terms of height and width? :derp:

No idea.

I also just added the summonables, Totem is massively tall. When you go in-game and compare your standing height to it then it makes sense but... :chucho:

Anyhow have fun with those.

Maybe is the wrench + helmet thingy pistons, they reach Skoll's shoulders. Is a portion of Skoll's head not part of his hitbox then?

Something's changed a lot with how hitboxes are determined in later versions of Awesomenauts that I have failed to account for, until then I'll be locking the thread so I can clean up everything that's currently incorrect.

EDIT: It seems said variable was actually accounted for but I'm gonna leave the thread locked so it can sink and not hog up front page so actual balance threads can take up the spot.

Unlocking and bumping this topic with an update and questions, sorry to take up front page again.

If you want to just skim look for underlined stuff for the questions.

I decided it might be a cool idea to create images with near-perfect upscaling in pixels (rounding has to be done else I'd be making these images needlessly large). Here's the first five I've made:

They're 1:20 "Fish units" to pixels, or 1:2000 in-game units to pixels with rounding. These would be easy to simply mix and match in an image editing environment to get a true visual idea of how big each character is. They would include potential hitbox size differences if minor (like Derpl) or would simply have separate images for hitbox variations that are too difficult to contain within one image. So, do you think making these for every single hitbox would be worth the time or do they seem unuseful? I was planning to, if things go through, also create these for every single attack hitbox. You can consider this image I made in 2s for the Ted thread a prototype of such, and the image that inspired me making the 5 above:

Secondly, do you feel this thread should be moved to tactics? It'd inevitably get less traffic there for questions like this but people might find this info unfitting for their balance-oriented sub.

They aren't cleanly made but here is every single Awesomenaut in .png rectangles. This makes for a far better means of truly understanding each hitbox for those that don't quite think well in numbers.

Next up will be summonables.
