no it didn't

and i guess we have to take that from Ronimo's favorite drone

The quality you're describing is subjective, and you're just plain wrong about the numbers (which are very measurable). Unless you're talking about immediately after F2P, in which case... yeah, it had more players for like a month.

We're pretty much exactly where we've always been pre-F2P now in terms of concurrent players.

We're slightly below a by-the-eye average of the whole lifespan, and measurably below the yearly average from three years ago and prior.

Well then, I stand corrected. I thought the pre-F2P numbers were lower.

It's not a drastic difference—to your credit—but if something doesn't change, we're steadily on course to reach the lowest monthly average ever.

So, yeah. There's that. Not to worry, though, because Swords and Soldiers II is coming to Steam, and bringing with it a million new players for Ronimo's coffers.

...Right? Where's the hype. I do not see the hype. The hype is missing.

I read the OP, But I'm not currently up to date with this threads symposium otherwise...That Being Said...

Ronimo Has bills to pay. Kickstarter or not it's imperative to make money, and Kickstarters are to present a project to an audience that allows its promise to ride on your support. When I back a project, I'm supporting the company that makes the project I'm interested in, so they can do it. It's my donation to the Kickstarter Campaign that keeps ronimo alive as a company. Granted, if ronimo dropped the startstorm project all together, ditched nauts and went straight to swords and soldiers I'd be VERY angry! lol

Ronimos Kickstarter for SS2 was pitiful pennies though. Their target of 50 000 dollars might be good for indie developers of 1-3 members, but not for a team of 15ish members. That will barely spend their expenses and wages for a month.

Which makes sense for a game that's basically finished. as far as I can tell the money pours in when you release your product..the process of indie development creates a typical funding gap so it kinda adds up. especially when you have one game with a sizable amount of DLC.. I mean I'm not trying to pretend I know everything just doing the math lol
